Faucets are not just functional devices but also design elements that contribute to the overall visual appeal of a space. In this product category limited constraints like shape, finish and color make or break the character of the outcome. This project explores these constraints and how they influence design choices.

Analyzing consumer preferences, industry trends and competitor offerings; the findings revealed a growing demand for eco-friendly and technologically advanced faucets. Although new CMF options are trending, classic finishes and designs are still the favorite.

Legacy products like the vola kitchen and bathroom mixers were analyzed; what makes the design of a faucet so iconic?

The combination of a timeless design with high-quality, CMF options and a modular system that allows solutions for plenty of use cases.
